The Achievements ABA BCBA Training Program offers a comprehensive, hands-on supervised fieldwork experience designed to help future behavior analysts grow into confident, ethical, and clinically strong professionals.

This program is proudly led by the esteemed Dr. Ashley Carrigan, our Director of Training & Development, who brings exceptional expertise and a passion for shaping the next generation of BCBAs.

All activities align with the BACB 5th Edition Task List, including:

Foundations (A–D):

  • Philosophical underpinnings
  • Concepts and principles
  • Measurement and data interpretation
  • Experimental design

Applications (E–H):

  • Ethics
  • Behavior assessment
  • Behavior-change procedures
  • Intervention selection and implementation

Competency Requirements

Upon enrollment, trainees complete an initial baseline evaluation followed by ongoing competency assessments throughout the program.

Core Requirements

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong communication and soft skills
  • Effective use of ABA software and digital tools
  • Commitment to personal productivity and learning

Monthly Expectations

  • 30+ unrestricted hours
  • 2 group supervisions per month
  • 1 case review per cohort
  • 1 competency task per month
  • Minimum 1 hour of individual supervision
  • Accurate documentation using the Ripley Fieldwork Tracker
  • Submission of permanent products through Google Classroom

Program Completion

Trainees must demonstrate:

  • 80% mastery on the competency checklist
  • Completion of all fieldwork hours
  • Successful exit meeting with supervising BCBA to prepare for the BACB exam
